The interests of the Historic Arms Section are spread right across all other Sections of Basildon Rifle and Pistol Club. Members of the Historic section have an interest in collecting, studying & researching, using and preserving historic arms of all classes and natures.
These range right across the board of rifles:

Historic courses of fire.

Historic arms can be used in any of Basildon Rifle and Pistol Club shooting Sections; the section further encourages their use and study. Part of this is a regular programme of talks on all aspects of historic arms which includes short “show and tell” elements where members are encouraged to present items from their personal collection and bring to the attention of the wider club audience. This broadens horizons, shares knowledge & expertise, and encourages diverse interests.

The section is open to any club member and also allows guests to attend the programme of talks on the first Wednesday of each month from 19:00.
